Rainy Sunday perfect for browsing the Inspired Remnants Blog Hop Tour and Beadbloggers

Spring is here!!! Pink Dogwoods and Lilac bushes are in bloom everywhere, its so gorgeous!
While it's a gloomy, overcast, cold rainy day here in the Ohio Valley today, yesterday was overcast but warm and pleasant.  Bettie got to run around Oglebay Park, curiously sniffing all the grass deer had been walking on, then stopped by the thrift store and picked up a 50's china cabinet (woo hoo!) then had a yummy pizza from Vocelli's for dinner. All those carbs yesterday combined with today's weather is making my fibro rear its ugly head. So because I'm so low energy today, I am going to curl up with a pot of jasmine green tea and my laptop to do some long overdue blog reading.

First on the list - Kerin Gale's Inspired Remnants, Curious Dreams: Mixed Media Projects in Epoxy Clay blog hop book tour which starts today.  Kerin's book is all about working with epoxy clay, something I love and use alot of in my own work.  On the blog hop tour there are 18 stops, 117+ giveaways, online workshops, amazing eye candy, new artists to meet and more fun.   Join her facebook fan page, and the blog for more eye candy, the full blog hop schedule and details about future giveaways.  You can join the facebook fan group and post pics of your own epoxy clay creations too.

Kerin's book is a MUST have if you are curious about working with epoxy clay. It's easy to use, and so so SO much fun to work with!    In my "Ancient Futuristic Steampunk Art Goddess" art doll class we use it to make fantastical figures like this.

Kerin and I both recommend and use Aves Studio Apoxy Clay and Apoxie Sculpt. so be sure to stop by the Aves Studio website too!

Next up on the "to read" list, are my fellow bead bloggers. LOTS Of wonderful eye candy and inspiration to help pass this dreary Sunday.
